Forgot to mention - I saw the Real World DC cast at Fly Lounge on Saturday. OK, maybe "saw" isn't the right word since I have no idea what they look like and couldn't pick them out of a line-up. They blend right in with the rest of us nobodies. Not famous yet, kids!
So, I recognized the Real World camera crew and lights there, close enough.
I am so worried about Pickles the parrot!
This is the closest I've gotten to nature in some time.
For about 3 weeks in a row, every time I walked by this underpass moat-y thing near the Tidal Basin, I would see a man fishing. I always thought fishing was about communing with nature and all that jazz, and this seems like a particularly bleak place for that. I imagine all the fish living here have tuberculosis. And who wants to stare at a concrete wall for hours?
