This week I've been listening to a band called the Fruit Bats, and a lyric in one of their songs is "You lost your voice singing along to ‘Raspberry Beret'." I decided that I need to hear Prince's Raspberry Beret immediately.
Then that same day, I saw this hat in the store window at H&M. And I needed to own it.

Suffer for Fashion or Whatever
Wore my new monster high heels for the first time today. I'm still trying to figure out if I was getting checked out, or just stared at because I was walking so oddly. Very stilted - visible effort with each step.
Happy-Go-Lucky
Theory: the brighter your clothes are, the happier you feel. Just testing it out today, wearing hot pink, orange and blue and skipping down the sidewalk. I could wear head to toe neon, but I won't for fear I'll be committed.
