The iPhone Case Was Supposed to Withstand a Car Crash

My iPhone broke on Saturday - it refuses to turn on. Don't know what the deal is, I didn't even drop it at all last week.

ETA: It spontaneously regenerated, yay. Is there anything the iPhone can't do?
